Beverly Elaine Bain Carter, age 79, of Pelham passed away Sunday, June 19.

Beverly was employed by the Federal Government for 18 years and then became co-owner of Auto Disposal Company for 24 years with her husband.

Her survivors include her husband of 59 years, George Lawton Carter III; sons, George Lawton Carter, Jr. (Anne Gentry) and Dale Carter; sisters, Brenda Jenkins and Beth Torbert (Dave); grandchildren, Drew (Ashley), Maggie (Will) and Mitch and great granddaughter, Ada.

The family will receive friends from 10:30–11 a.m., Saturday, June 25, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m., both at Charter Funeral Home.
