The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports from June 8-15:

 

June 8

-Domestic violence – harassment from Highway 25, Vandiver (residence/home).

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle and theft of property in the second degree from the 2000 block of Stone Brook Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). A 9 mm pistol, silver in color valued at $400, a black iPod Nano valued at $200 and a portable DVD player in a black case valued at $50 were stolen.

-Domestic violence (strangulation) in the second degree from the 100 block of Dogwood Circle, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Theft of property in the first degree from the 500 block of Howard Hill Drive (bank). Approximately $19,000 in U.S. currency was stolen.

-Burglary in the third degree and theft of property in the first degree from the 5300 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham (storage facility). A 2007 Suzuki Z90 rear wheel drive four wheeler (white) valued at $2,500, a 2007 Trek Fuel men’s mountain bike with 27.5-inch wheels (black) valued at $2,000, a giant roadbike men’s (blue) valued at $1,000, a giant roadbike women’s (teal) valued at $1,000, a Stihl leaf blower valued at $200 and an Echo leaf blower valued at $200 were stolen, and a 2010 Honda Rancher 420 4×4 four wheeler valued at $400 was damaged.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Silver Lane, Alabaster (residence/home).

-Harassment from Silver Lane, Alabaster (highway/street).

-Allowing dogs to run at large from the 200 block of Ridge Road, Shelby (residence/home).

 

June 9

-Allowing dogs to roam at large from the 53000 block of Highway 25, Vandiver (residence/home).

-Theft of property in the third degree from the 100 block of Southwood Lane, Alabaster (residence/home). A 30-inch LG flat screen TV valued at $100 was stolen.

-Death investigation from the 3200 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Identity theft from an unknown location (other/unknown). Forged were $2,609 in debt using victim’s identity.

-Miscellaneous incident from an unknown location (commercial).

-Civil dispute from the 2500 block of Rocky Mount Road, Prattville (specialty store).

-Discharge of duty weapon from the 1300 block of County Road 89, Montevallo (other/unknown).

-Menacing from the 7100 block of Highway 47, Shelby (parking lot/garage).

-Public intoxication from the 900 block of Highway 400, Shelby (field/woods, highway/street).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property in the third degree from the 2000 block of Stone Brook Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). A black unknown type wallet valued at $20, a debit card, a Visa card, an Alabama driver’s license and a Social Security card were stolen.

-Domestic violence (assault) in the third degree from the 100 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Driving under the influence from Dunnavant Valley Road at Smith Drive (highway/street).

-Fraudulent use of debit/credit card from an unknown location (department store). A credit card was forged for $1,292.62.

-Identity theft from the 200 block of Water Brook Drive, Leeds (department store). A debit card was forged for $332.69.

-Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card from the 5100 block of Old Mill Court, Pelham (residence/home). Listed was $150 stolen from an account.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Branch Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 1800 block of River Road, Helena (residence/home).

-Death investigation from the 40 block of Reed Creek Lane, Shelby (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 2000 block of Smith Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Harassment from Highway 55, Westover (residence/home).

-Identity theft from Hawthorn Street, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Harassment from the 500 block of Highway 406, Shelby (residence/home).

-Property damage from the 5400 block of U.S. 280 (service/gas station). A 2007 Honda Accord was damaged.

-Domestic investigation from the 1400 block of Mimosa Road, Leeds (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Oakmont Road (residence/home).

-Violation of PFA from the 300 block of Barnett Lane, Helena (residence/home).

-Theft of lost property in the third degree from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea (other/unknown). A black iPhone 4 valued at $400 and a debit card were stolen.

 

June 11

-Forgery in the second degree from the 10000 block of Chelsea Road, Chelsea (other/unknown). Cash in the amount of $60 was stolen.

-Domestic violence in the second degree (strangulation) from a residence in Mt Laurel subdivision (residence/home).

-Identity theft and theft in the second degree from the 1200 block of Highway 311, Shelby (church). Approximately 10 credit cards, approximately $75 in U.S. currency, a Vera Bradley wallet, a checkbook full of checks and a driver’s license, insurance card and Social Security card were stolen.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (jail/prison). a small white pill marked “AN627” identified as Tramadol (sched IV) was confiscated.

-Promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (jail/prison). A Milwaukee Sawzall blade 8 1/2 inch blade was confiscated.

-Domestic investigation from the 8000 block of Highway 155, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Huckleberry Drive, Maylene (residence/home).

-Unauthorized use of vehicle from the 400 block of N. Horton Road, Wilsonville (residence/home).

-Dogs running at large from the 100 block of Katie Acres Lane, Wilsonville (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident (property damage) from near 651 Highway 22, Montevallo (highway/street). A power pole was broken and power outage.

-Agency assist (stolen vehicle recovery) from the 0 block of Spain Drive, Alabaster (residence/home). A 2003 maroon Chevrolet Tahoe was recovered.

 

June 12

-Death investigation from the 4000 block of County Road 57, Vincent (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from U.S. 280 and Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of County Road 470, Leeds (residence/home).

-Assault in the second degree from an unknown location in Almont, Montevallo (highway/street).

-Fraudulent use of a debit or credit card from the 2000 block of Brook Highland Ridge, Birmingham (residence/home). Listed were $122 on a Visa card and $33.03 on a debit card stolen.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Qual Run Circle, Wilsonville (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Chelsea Corners Way, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Theft of property in the fourth degree from the 100 block of August Road, Columbiana (residence/home). A 100-foot roll of chain link fence was stolen.

-Theft of property in the first degree from the 6100 block of Eagle Point Circle, Birmingham (residence/home). Three rings sautered with 1 carat diamond wrap 1 carat center stone valued at $5,000 and a birth stone ring valued at $800 were stolen.

-Theft of property in the first degree from the 3000 block of Dundee Lane, Birmingham (residence/home). Eight items of miscellaneous jewelry valued at $30,100 were stolen.

-Theft of property in the fourth degree from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham (other/unknown). A black iPhone 5s valued at $300 was stolen.

-Criminal mischief in the third degree from the 200 block of Highway 403, Shelby (restaurant).

-Death investigation from the 2800 block of Chelsea Road, Columbiana (residence/home). Twenty-three morphine 30 mg, nine hydrocodone 5-325, 53 haloperidol 1 mg, 161 lorazepam 1mg and 12 mL morphine sulfate 100 mg per 5 mL were destroyed.

-Miscellaneous information from the 1300 block of County Highway 69, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 5000 block of Wagon Trace, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Fire investigation from the 500 block of Heatherwood Drive, Birmingham (parking lot/garage, other/unknown). An Easy-Go golf cart valued at $3,500 was damaged.

-Domestic investigation from the 2900 block of Selkirk Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 4200 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from Pine Knoll Circle, Shelby (residence/home).

-Domestic investigation from the 29000 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville (residence/home).

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Cummings Drive, Montevallo (residence/home). Three Roxanol bottles containing 80 ml were destroyed.

-Domestic violence – harassing communications in the third degree from the 2900 block of Selkirk Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle and theft of property in the fourth degree from the 200 block of Hawthorn Street, Birmingham (highway/street). A Sony digital still camera valued at $400 was stolen.

-Identity theft from the 2000 block of Forest Lakes Lane, Chelsea (other/unknown).

-Domestic violence – harassment in the third degree from the 6200 block of Highway 47, Shelby (residence/home).

-Domestic violence – harassing communication in the third degree from Ridge Lane, Shelby (residence/home).

-Theft of property in the third degree from the 5000 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham (other/unknown). A Coach women’s wallet, black/gray, valued at $50, U.S. currency valued at $80, a credit card, a credit card, a debit card and a Mexico identification card were stolen.

 

June 14

-Theft of property in the first degree from the 300 block of Strawberry Road, Shelby (residence/home). Stolen was a green 1953 Chevrolet truck.

-Domestic violence (harassing communications) in the third degree from the 50000 block of Highway 25, Vandiver (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 400 block of Church Street, Montevallo (residence/home).

-Fire investigation from the 100 block of Family Drive, Wilsonville (residence/home). A mobile home was burned.

-Violation of A.P.F.A. from the 300 block of Forest Lakes Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

-Miscellaneous incident from the 300 block of Hannah Drive, Vincent (residence/home).

-Civil dispute from the 3300 block of Blue Bell Lane, Birmingham (residence/home). Listed were assorted power tools, assorted tools, assorted wood and metal cabinets and Dish TV equipment.

-Violation of a domestic violence protection order from the 300 block of Southern Hills Drive, Calera (residence/home).

-Juvenile runaway from the 300 block of Marigold Road, Shelby (residence/home).

-Domestic violence (assault) in the third degree from Copper Road, Columbiana (residence/home).

-Fraudulent use of a debit/credit card from U.S. 280, Birmingham (bank).

-UPOCS from Forest Lakes Lane at Forest Lakes Parkway, Chelsea (highway/street). White coffee filters containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, approximately 3 grams total weight including the filters, were confiscated.

-Driving under the influence from Highway 61 at Highway 77, Columbiana (highway/street).

 

June 15

-Unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 0 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). Confiscated were Jimenez Arms Inc. Mod# J.A. 22, 22 caliber with magazine, approximately 5.0 grams of marijuana, copper color grinder, AWS model# AWS-1KG scale, wooden pipe and silver metal pipe.

-Criminal mischief in the second degree from the 4600 block of Highway 71 (Spring Creek Grocery), Shelby (convenience store). A glass entry door valued at $750 was shattered, an umbrella stand valued at $50 was broken in half and a 750mL bottle of Sailor Jerry’s Rum valued at $28 was shattered.

 

June 16

-Harassment from the 700 block of Lokey Ferry Road, Wilsonville (government/public building).
