Pamela Yvonne Massey Skinner, age 57, of Alabaster, passed away Sunday, June 19, at her home.

Pam attended Thompson High School and Jefferson State Community College. She was a Production Manager at Best Access Systems. She was a musician, and played with several bands and church groups. She attended Alabaster Church of God. She was a loving and generous woman and her family asks for your healing prayers.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Boyd “HOPPY” Massey; her sister, Katy Marie Massey White; and husband, Robert Payne.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelley McCollum and Amanda Walters; her son, Joseph Walters (Tabatha); grandchildren, Abby McCollum, Alec Smitherman, Alanah Smitherman, Molly Lawley, Jordan Driver, Layne Boothe; mother, Billie Massey; sister, Tammy Cable (Sonny); brothers, Randall Massey and Shane Massey, nieces, Candace Walters and Mikah Boothe; nephews, Keith Massey, Chris Shaner, Kevin Shaner, Jake Turberville, Bo Turberville and Wesley Howard; and a host of great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Visitation was held Thursday, June 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Alabaster Church of God. Her funeral service was Friday, June 24 at 11 a.m. at the church with burial to follow at Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster. Service officiated by Alton Bristow.
