Loy Vance Steele, age 85, of Montevallo, passed away Sunday, June 26.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 29 at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. Pate Hughins and Bro. Ben Dailey officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Era Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Steele is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Arnold.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Steele, Kathy Dailey (Ben), and Audrey Hughins (Pate); son, Joseph Hutton, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
