HELENA–The Helena Huskies football program will be hosting a one-day youth skills camp for younger athletes interested in learning and developing their skills in the game of football.

The camp is open to any athletes entering grades 1-6 and will be held Saturday, July 23 from 8 a.m. to noon at Husky Stadium on the campus of Helena High School.

Those attending the skills camp will receive personal instruction from Helena High School coaches and senior football players on all football positions, weight training and nutrition information. The camp will also conclude with a punt, pass and kick competition.

The cost of the camp is $25 for those that register before the July 13 deadline and will include a camp T-shirt. Campers that register after July 13 will pay $30 and not receive a camp T-shirt.

Athletes attending the camp should bring cleats, tennis shoes, water bottle, shorts, shirt and sunscreen is encouraged. Bottled water and Gatorade will be available for purchase for $1.

Those wishing to attend the camp should make checks payable to Helena High School with the subject “Football camp.”
