Juliet M. Clennon, age 95, of Alabaster, born in Bradford, Mass., to Leo F. Trottier and Alma (Gaudette) Trottier.

Juliet was educated at Havenhill High School and N.E. School of Art, Boston.  Juliet majored in fashion design, was employed by Priscilla’s of Boston and designed her wedding dress, attendant’s dresses and her trousseau.  She was a very talented fashion designer who designed most of hers and her daughter’s clothes until she was unable to see due to macular degeneration.

Julie was a proud member of the U. S. Navy where she served as a WAVE during WWII in Miami.

Julie is survived by her son, Eugene M. Clennon, II (Tracy); daughter, Monica C. Ashmore-Holden (David); grandchildren, Brett Smith (Haley), Mason Clennon, Matthew Ashmore, Amanda Ashmore, Seth Ashmore, Jennifer Campisi (Chris), Jessica Holden and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 3p.m., Thursday, July 7 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Montevallo. Burial will be in Bradford, Mass., at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Beacon Hospice, The American Cancer Society or St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
