The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reports from June 20-25

 

June 20

•Burglary in the third degree and theft of property in the first degree from the 5000 block of Wagon Trace, Birmingham (residence/home). Nine assorted firearms valued at $27,950 and a Callaway golf club set valued at $1,800 were stolen.

 

June 21

•Miscellaneous information from Moss Oak Road, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Evergreen Road, Shelby (residence/home).

•Domestic violence investigation from the 3700 block of Blue Springs Road, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 400 block of Depot Street, Wilton (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from Sarge Drive, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal trespass in the third degree from Mimosa Drive, Helena (residence/home). An aluminum window screen valued at $25 was damaged.

•Criminal mischief in the third degree and trespassing in the second degree from an unknown location (residence/home). Six metal pipe gates were broken/bent, and six metal gate locks were broken.

•Burglary in the third degree and theft of property in the second degree from the 4400 block of Highway 22, Montevallo (residence/home). A Rigid Concrete Saw still in original box valued at $1,200 and a yellow DeWalt drill, a green Makita drill and a porter cable drill valued at $600 were stolen.

•Theft of property in the fourth degree from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham (department store). A vintage collectible Game Boy valued at $130 was stolen.

•Harassment from the 100 block of Lorrin Lane, Sterrett (residence/home).

 

June 22

•Miscellaneous incident from the 6500 block of Highway 47, Shelby (residence/home). A leather wallet containing Social Security cards, $1 in U.S. currency and a driver’s license, valued at $20, was recovered.

•Unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 100 block of Evergreen Road, Shelby (residence/home). A clear plastic baggy containing a crystal like substance (0.5) and a clear syringe with orange cap were confiscated.

•Found property from the 800 block of County Highway 43, Chelsea (highway/street). A Glock Model 23, .40 caliber, Generation 4 handgun valued at $595 was recovered.

•Domestic investigation from the 500 block of Lovette Drive, Columbiana.

•Theft of property in the third degree from the 3000 block of Highway 93, Helena (residence/home). A written prescription for Percocet was stolen.

•Harassing communications from the 600 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous information (property damage) from the 100 block of Woodward Drive, Indian Springs (school/college). A wooden fence was damaged.

•Harassment from U.S. Highway 280 at Highway 119, Birmingham (highway/street).

•Miscellaneous incident – missing person from the 3800 block of Highway 10, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Domestic violence (assault) in the third degree from the 400 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Domestic violence – harassing communications in the third degree from Woodward Drive, Pelham (residence/home).

•Theft of property from the second degree and criminal mischief in the third degree from the 100 block of Solomon Drive, Wilsonville (residence/home). Narco 10 prescription pain meds (150), an unknown amount of Xanax pills and two head gaskets on 2004 Nissan Quest van valued at $450 were stolen.

•Theft of property in the first degree from Island Road, Shelby (residence/home). Money transfers valued at about $90,000 were stolen.

•Assault in the first degree from Highway 51, Wilsonville (field/woods).

•Theft of property in the second degree from the 900 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham (residence/home). About 30 Tramadol 50 mg tablets were stolen.

•Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property in the third degree from the 900 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). A Lenovo T500 ThinkPad valued at $1,000, a pair of Polo Ralph Lauren tan loafers valued at $90 and a checkbook were stolen.

•SORNA violation – adult sex offender – registration with local law enforcement from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (other/unknown).

•Theft of property in the third degree from the 2400 block of Valley Brook Road, Birmingham (residence/home). A 14-carat yellow gold with three aquamarine stones, one opal stone, one peridot stone and ruby stone ring valued at $600 was stolen.

•Damage to property in the area of Highway 280 and Brasher Lane (highway/street). The front windshield of a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder was damaged.

•Criminal trespass in the third degree from the 4800 block of Highway 47, Shelby (residence/home).

•Criminal trespass from the 4600 block of Highway 47, Shelby (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 500 block of Lovette Drive, Columbiana (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 4600 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (convenience store).

•Trespassing in the second degree from the 31000 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville (field/woods).

•Identity theft from the 400 block of Chesser Plantation Lane, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Burglary in the third degree from the 2800 block of Highway 231 (residence/home). An exterior door jam was damaged.

 

June 23

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Landfill Drive, Columbiana (residence/home).

•Criminal trespassing in the second degree and criminal mischief in the third degree from the 31000 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville (residence/home). A back door, door frame and lock assembly valued at $500 were damaged.

•Fire investigation from the 100 block of Spring Drive, Shelby (residence/home). An approximately 10-foot-by-12-foot storage building with various tools was damaged.

•Miscellaneous (trespass) from the 500 block of Thornberry Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Property damage from Highway 36 and Highway 11, Chelsea (highway/street). A passenger rear quarter panel valued at $1,000 was damaged.

•Miscellaneous information from the 16000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (other/unknown).

•Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Fairbank Lane, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Permitting dogs to run at large from Highway 25, Vandiver (residence/home).

•Theft of property in the third degree and harassment from the 4000 block of Ashington Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). A Nest security camera valued at $200 and a Dropcam security camera valued at $200 were stolen.

•Criminal trespass in the third degree from the 500 block of Thornberry Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Promoting prison contraband in the second degree and property record from the 500 block of Highway 70, Columbiana (parking lot/garage). A plastic wrapping containing possible Suboxone strips valued at $100 and a package containing loose tobacco valued at $5 were recovered.

•Criminal trespass in the third degree from the 8800 block of Highway 47, Shelby (residence/home).

•Receiving stolen property in the first degree from the 900 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). A 2001 Lincoln Navigator valued at $5,000 was recovered.

•Terrorist threat from the 100 block of Main Street, Columbiana (government/public building).

•Missing person from the 100 block of Oakmont Road, Birmingham (other/unknown).

•Chemical endangerment of a child from the 200 block of Valentine Circle, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Property damage from the 1000 block of Dunnavant Valley Road, Birmingham (commercial). A mailbox valued at $375 was damaged.

•Domestic investigation from the 200 block of Chesser Park Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Duty upon striking an unattended vehicle from the 0 block of Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). The left rear bumper of a 2016 Hyundai Sonata valued at $2,000 was damaged.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 2900 block of Riverwood Terrace, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Carrying concealed weapon without permit from the 3000 block of Highway 70 (highway/street). A Jennings 9 mm was recovered.

•Identity theft and forgery in the second degree from Fowler Lane, Shelby (residence/home).

•Domestic violence (harassment) from the 5100 block of Highway 62, Vincent (residence/home).

 

June 24

•Obstructing justice using a false identity from U.S. Highway 280 at Doug Baker Boulevard, Birmingham (highway/street).

•Carry concealed weapon without permit from the 55000 block of Highway 25, Vandiver (highway/street). A Ruger SR40 automatic pistol was confiscated.

•Attempting to elude law enforcement officer and improper lane usage from Bowling Drive at Highway 280, Birmingham (highway/street).

•Theft of property from the second degree from the 16800 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (service/gas station). A Glock Model 43 9 mm semi-auto pistol valued at $500 was stolen.

•Damage to property from County Road 51 and County Road 55, Westover (highway/street). A 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe black was damaged.

•Damage to property from the 200 block of Hilltop Road, Leeds (residence/home). Vinyl siding (residential structure) was damaged.

•Fire investigation from the 200 block of Hilltop Road, Leeds (residence/home). A residential structure was damaged.

•Domestic incident from the 200 block of Swann Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous information from the 200 block of Chesser Park Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from Beeswax Park, Columbiana (parking lot/garage).

•Death investigation from the 2000 block of Highway 71, Shelby (residence/home). Nineteen Oxycontin tablets and 25 Hydromorphone tablets were destroyed.

•Unauthorized use of vehicle from the 7400 block of Highway 61, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident and property damage from the 200 block of Briar Patch Way, Maylene (residence/home). A driver side window was damaged.

•Civil dispute from the 4300 block of Heritage View Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 4300 block of Heritage View Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Civil dispute from the 0 block of ET Lane, Sterrett (residence/home).

•Indecent exposure from the 2300 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (other/unknown).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 5200 block of Jameswood Lane, Birmingham (residence/home). A Knickerbocker 12 gauge, double barrel shotgun, wooden stock was recovered.

•Harassing communications from Spain Drive, Alabaster (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 4600 block of Highway 71, Shelby (service/gas station).

•Theft of property in the first degree from the 200 block of Woodbridge Trail, Chelsea (residence/home). Stolen were a 16-foot tandem axle Outback trailer (outfitted for landscaping) with basket across front and equipment racks on side, drop ramp, valued at $2,200; an Encore zero-turn mower 52-inch deck, 25 hp Kawasaki engine valued at $8,000; A Hustler Trim Star standup mower 36-inch deck, Kawasaki engine valued at $4,000; a gas-powered hedge trimmer valued at $450; a Honda self-propelled mower valued at $500; and a Redmax string trimmer with extension, pole saw and hedge trimmer attachments valued at $1,000.

•Burglary in the third degree from the 500 block of Deer Run Road, Alabaster (residence/home). A glass back door was damaged in the amount of $300, and a flat screen TV (recovered) valued at $500 and a soundbar (recovered) valued at $100 were stolen.

•Theft of property in the first degree from the 100 block of Arabian Road, Columbiana (residence/home). A 2001 white Buick Le Sabre 4-door was stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 9000 block of Highway 47, Shelby (field/woods). A Nissan 4-door vehicle was damaged.

•Fraudulent use of debit card and theft in the third degree from the 31000 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville (residence/home). A debit card valued at $2,100 was forged and a non-narcotic medication was stolen.

•Miscellaneous information from Highway 5, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Theft of property in the second degree from Sams Place, Shelby (residence/home).

•Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Inverness Center Drive at Valleydale Road, Birmingham (highway/street). A glass pipe used to smoke narcotics was confiscated.

•Illegal possession of prescription drugs from Meadow Drive at Valleydale Road, Birmingham (highway/street). Confiscated were 120 Ampheta/Dextro combo 20 mg tablets (Adderall), 27 Adderall XR 20 mg capsules and an iPhone 6 plus.

•Theft of property in the second degree and fraudulent use of a debit/credit card from the 100 block of Idlewood Drive, Montevallo (residence/home). A debit card was stolen.

 

June 25

•Property damage from the 18000 block of Alabama Highway 25, Columbiana (highway/street). Two passenger side tires and possibly wheels (front and rear) on a white 2011 Honda Odyssey were damaged.

•Found property from Narrows Drive, Birmingham (parking lot/garage).

•Domestic investigation from the 300 block of Lake Drive, Shelby (residence/home).

•Theft of property in the fourth degree from the 2200 block of Highway 277, Helena (residence/home). A Cosmo 32-inch flat screen TV valued at $300 and a cordless phone were stolen.

•Missing person form the 0 block of Kings Ranch Drive, Wilsonville (other/unknown).

•Assault in the third degree and reckless endangerment from Highway 11 at Highway 36, Chelsea (highway/street).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Narrows Creek Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Death investigation from the 400 block of Ashbrook Trail, Columbiana (residence/home). Destroyed were 27 ml Roxanol 20 mg/mL, 34 1 mg Eativan and three Tylenol No. 3 tabs.

•Theft of property in the fourth degree from the 13000 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (service/gas station). An LG Lite S2 Tribute cell phone with pink case valued at $300 was stolen.

•Carrying concealed weapon from Spring Creek Road/Ox Farm Road, Montevallo (highway/street).

•Harassment from the 100 block of Branch Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 13800 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (parking lot/garage). A black pouch containing multiple small bags, scale and empty syringe, an empty syringe, a wooden bong, a metal nut with drug residue inside and a small bag containing crushed up amphetamine powder were confiscated.

•Miscellaneous incident/information from the 2200 block of Highway 46, Shelby (bar).

•Breaking and entering vehicle in the third degree and fraudulent use of credit card in the third degree from Highway 280, Chelsea (convenience store). A wallet containing Capital One card, American Express card, debit card and Alabama driver’s license valued at $25 was stolen.

•Theft of property in the second degree from the 2500 block of Highway 37, Columbiana (residence/home). Stolen were a Taurus revolver .38 cal valued at $300, a Mossberg 20GA pump shotgun valued at $220, a single shot .410 shotgun wooden stock valued at $150, a .22 cal Remington auto grey stock valued at $150, a .22 cal Remington auto wood stock valued at $150 and a .243 cal Bolt action rifle wood stock valued at $250.

•Sex abuse of a child less than 12 years old from the 100 block of Birmingham Street, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident/information from the 2200 block of Highway 46, Shelby (bar).
