FROM STAFF REPORTS

PELHAM— The Pelham Police Department announced that Shelby County 52 West will be closing in 30-minute intervals starting at noon July 13, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

Residents may need to find an alternate route due to CSX construction at the railroad tracks. Shelby County 52 will remain closed for 30 minutes and then re-open for 30 minutes.

The post said officers will be posted at the intersection of Shelby County 52 West and U.S. 31, as well as Shelby County 52 West and Lee Street.

“It would be a good idea to take an alternate route,” the post read. “At this time, the duration of this detail is unknown.”

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
