The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from July 1-5:

 

July 1

•Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 2300 block of Inverness Cliffs (parking lot/garage). A Sony 10-inch subwoofer valued at $120, an unknown model or size amp valued at $100 and a custom subwoofer box valued at $60 were stolen.

•SORNA violation – registration fee from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (other/unknown).

•Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 1300 block of Inverness Cliffs, Birmingham (parking lot/garage). A car key and a Bluetooth headset valued at $100 were stolen.

•Theft of property in the third degree from the 4900 block of Heatherbrooke Road (parking lot/garage). A black nylon wallet valued at $10, a driver’s license valued at $25, a Social Security card, a birth certificate and a debit card were stolen.

•Identity theft from the 600 block of Highland Lakes Cove, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from the 1400 block of Inverness Cliffs, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Domestic violence – harassment in the third degree from the 4000 block of Highway 109, Columbiana (residence/home).

•Unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree from the 7800 block of Highway 47, Shelby (residence/home). A Suboxone strip 8 mg/2 mg and approximately 7 grams of marijuana were confiscated.

•Juvenile runaway from the 45000 block of Portobello Road (residence/home).

•Theft of property in the first degree from the 16000 block of County Road 55, Sterrett (residence/home).

•Theft of property in the first degree from the 1000 block of Chancellor Ferry Road, Harpersville (residence/home). Stolen were $100 bills totaling $7,600.

•Domestic violence (harassment) in the third degree from the 100 block of Sarge Drive, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 16000 block of Highway 280 at Verizon, Chelsea (commercial).

•Civil dispute from Pier 39, Lake Logan Martin (restaurant).

•Miscellaneous from Highway 119 and Grimes Road, Birmingham (construction).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Davis Street, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Harassing communications from the 17000 block of Highway 42, Shelby (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 7800 block of Highway 47, Shelby (restaurant).

 

July 2

•UPDP and promoting prison contraband in the third degree from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (jail/prison). A glass vial commonly used for smoking meth and other drugs with black residue at the bottom was confiscated.

•Burglary in the second degree and theft of property in the second degree from the 4000 block of Highway 10, Montevallo (residence/home). U.S. currency in the amount of $190, 20 Suboxone strips 40 mg and 10 Paroxetine medication were stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 5000 block of Hollow Log Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Fairbank Lane, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Thornberry Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1700 block of County Road 36, Chelsea (church). A 6-inch kitchen knife with wooden handle was recovered.

•Miscellaneous incident from the corner of County Road 36 and River Birch Road, Chelsea (highway/street).

•Domestic violence investigation from the 100 block of Weeping Circle, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Dog bite – miscellaneous incident from a trailer park, Highway 402, Shelby (residence/home).

•DUI any substance form the 5100 block of Prairie Road (residence/home).

•Criminal littering from the 5100 block of Valleybrook Lane, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1900 block of Hebb Road, Wilsonville (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (government/public building).

•Civil dispute/child custody from the 2800 block Highway 93, Helena (residence/home).

•Disorderly conduct and public intoxication from the 200 block of Highway 408, Shelby (residence/home). A Glock 27 pistol, a magazine for Glock 27 pistol and 13 .40 caliber bullets were confiscated.

 

July 3

•Miscellaneous incident from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana (jail/prison). A small clear baggie containing white crystal type rocks thought to be meth was recovered.

•Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 5100 block of Willow Way, Birmingham (residence/home). A Glock 23C .40 cal was stolen.

•Burglary in the third degree from the 4900 block of Keith Drive, Birmingham (church). Burn marks on concrete basement floor and basement, bathroom window broken from the inside were discovered. A fire extinguisher valued at $50 was stolen from the wall in the sanctuary.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 4900 block of Keith Drive, Birmingham (residence/home). Miscellaneous items were drawn on driver’s side windows in green window marker.

•Resisting arrest and attempt to elude police from the 1500 block of Clay Pit Road, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Thornberry Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Theft of property 4th from Burnham Drive, Birmingham (highway/street). A vehicle tag belonging to a Toyota Sequoia valued at $150 was stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 5000 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (highway/street). A 2011 Honda Pilot, gray, was damaged.

•Harassing communications from the 4000 block of Highway 36, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Fire investigation from the 100 block of New Williamsburg Road, Birmingham (commercial). A building used for golf cart storage/maintenance was damaged.

•Missing person from the 4000 block of Cross Grove Circle, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Trespassing in the first degree from Bradley Drive, Chelsea (residence/home).

•Found property from Chism Circle, Montevallo (residence/home). A black PlayStation 3 (PS3) console was recovered.

•Death investigation from the 19000 block of River Drive, Shelby (residence/home). Destroyed were 28 Ativan, 1mg, and morphine concentrate, 20 mg/mL, 28 mL.

•Harassing communications from the 14000 block of County Road 43, Vandiver (residence/home).

 

July 4

•Burglary in the third degree from the 2000 block of Highway 61, Columbiana (other/unknown). U.S. currency in the amount of $200 (two $100 bills taken out of envelop from desktop) was stolen.

•Theft of property in the second degree from the 52000 block of U.S. 25, Vandiver (residence/home). Stolen were 88 Hydrocodone 10 mg prescribed.

•Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 400 block of Hillandell Drive, Hoover (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Sheila Point, Lot 39, Shelby (residence/home).

•Domestic investigation from the 3100 block of Woodbridge Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Public intoxication from Highway 280 at County Road 43, Sterrett (highway/street).

•Theft of property 4th from the 1000 block of Hunt Cliff Road, Birmingham (residence/home). An iPhone 5S valued at $300 was stolen.

•Death investigation from the 4900 block of Meadowbrook Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Domestic violence 3rd/harassment from Highway 470, Leeds (residence/home).

•Domestic violence/harassment in the third degree from the 0 block of Highway 205, Montevallo (residence/home).

•Domestic violence – strangulation and domestic violence – assault in the third degree from the 100 block of Highway 205, Montevallo (residence/home). A Fuji film disposable camera was listed.

•Death investigation from the 3500 block of York Street, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Public intoxication and resisting arrest from the 500 block of Yorkshire Road, Columbiana (highway/street).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 3100 block of Woodbridge Drive, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous from the 5100 block of Cahaba Beach Lane, Birmingham (field/woods).

July 5

•Miscellaneous incident from the 3700 block of Highway 30, Columbiana (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident (property damage) from 47 and 61, Shelby (highway/street). A grill, front bumper and radiator on a Ford F150 was damaged.

•Harassing communications from Spain Drive, Alabaster (residence/home).

•Harassing communications from Spain Drive, Alabaster (residence/home).

•Harassing communications from the 3000 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

•Harassment and criminal mischief in the third degree from the 300 block of Salem Road, Montevallo (residence/home). A wooden fence post valued at $20 was damaged.

•Criminal trespass in the first degree from Clear Springs Way, Shelby (residence/home).

•Miscellaneous incident from the 5500 block of Highway 280 S, Suite 215, Birmingham. Five sealed Fentanyl transdermal patches (25 mcg/hr), a possible Fentanyl patch, out of packaging were recovered.

•Burglary from the 2200 block of Beaver Creek Road, Shelby (residence/home). A door frame was damaged.

•Domestic violence – harassment from the 7300 block of Highway 61, Wilsonville (residence/home).
