The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from July 6-12:

 

July 6

•Property damage from the 1200 Block of Highland Village Trail, Birmingham. Two tires and rims were damaged, totaling about $500.

•Harassment and disorderly conduct from Hwy. 406, Shelby.

•Harassing communications from the 14000 Block of Retreat Lane, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Hwy. 255, Montevallo.

•Theft of property from the 14000 Block of Hwy. 280, Chelsea. An envelope with employee information and tax documents, and a flash drive with employee information were stolen.

•Theft of property from the 100 Block of Deerwood Lake Drive, Westover. Family photos were stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 5000 Block of Heatherhedge Circle, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1000 Block of Narrows Point Drive, Birmingham, involving Norco 7.5 tablets and Morphine liquid 26 mL.

•Trespassing from 100 Block of Rich Drive, Chelsea.

•Fire investigation from the 3500 Block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 500 Block of Morning Sun Drive.

•Criminal mischief from the 1700 Block of Inverness Cliffs. A rear windshield wiper was damaged.

•Domestic investigation from the 12000 Block of Old Hwy. 280, Chelsea.

•Domestic investigation from the 200 Block of Hwy. 204, Montevallo.

•Burglary from the 7000 Block of Meadowlark Drive, Birmingham. A Honda self-propelled mower, chainsaw, electric scooter, 10 fishing reels, antique sewing machine, three boxes of fishing lures and trimmer were stolen.

 

July 7

•Damage to property from the 1200 Block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham. The right side passenger door and right side passenger window were damaged.

•Domestic investigation from the 0 Block of Sam’s Place, Shelby.

•Agency assist at 987 Hwy. 70, Columbiana.

•Domestic violence/criminal mischief from the 100 Block of Hwy. 255, Montevallo.

•Domestic violence/assault from Queens Road, Columbiana.

•Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property from the 3000 Block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham. An Apple iPad, Verizon Wireless WiFI device, TomTom GPS and assorted costume jewelry were stolen, at a total value of $900.

•Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle from the 200 Block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham. A Smith and Wesson 9mm, check card and debit card were stolen.

•Criminal mischief from the area of Old Rocky Ridge Road, Birmingham. A sewer treatment system was damaged.

•Identity theft from the 1000 Block of Kingston Road, Chelsea. A debit card was stolen.

•Domestic violence/harassment from the 100 Block of Asberry Road, Montevallo.

•DUI from the 4500 Block of South Shades Crest Road, Bessemer.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 Block of Cambrian Way, Birmingham.

•Suicide attempt from the 6000 Block of Hwy. 39, Chelsea.

•Criminal mischief from the 100 Block of Talon Parkway, Birmingham. A wrought iron mailbox valued at $2,200 was stolen.

•Use of force from the 2200 Block of Massey Road, Alabaster.

•Theft of property from the 100 Block of Bradley Drive, Chelsea. A utility trailer valued at $700 was stolen.

•Domestic violence/assault from the 9000 Block of Hwy. 55, Sterrett.

 

July 8

•Property damage from the 100 Block of South River Drive, Shelby. Siding on outside and sheetrock and studs on inside of residence, blocks on a retaining wall, boat trailer, wooden fence and decorative bush were damaged/destroyed.

•Death investigation from the 1100 Block of Forest Lakes Way, Chelsea.

•Miscellaneous information from the 2300 Block of Black Ridge Trail.

•Theft of property from the 8700 Block of Hwy. 47, Shelby. A 12-volt vehicle battery valued at $75 was stolen.

•Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Birmingham St. Wilton.

•Domestic investigation from the 400 Block of Hwy. 17, Montevallo.

•Death investigation from the 1500 Block of Wilderness Trail, Shelby.

•Abandoned vehicle from Valleydale Road at Applecross Road, Birmingham.

•Suicide attempt from the 100 Block of Lime Creek Lane, Chelsea.

•Death investigation from the 100 Block of Gordie Davis Drive, Leeds.

•Identity theft from the 300 Block of Copperhead Road, Maylene.

•Domestic violence/harassing communications from Jade Lane, Shelby.

•Theft of property from the 4900 Block of Sussex Road, Birmingham. A savings card was stolen.

•Death investigation from the 400 Block of County Road 39, Chelsea.

•Possession of a controlled substance from Forest Lane Parkway, Chelsea. A bottle containing a plastic bag with Xanax pills and a prescription bottle containing 14 Hydrocodone pills was confiscated.

•Trespass from Hwy. 50, Vandiver.

 

July 9

•Public lewdness from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280.

•Criminal mischief from the Huddle House parking lot, 16937 U.S. Highway 280, Chelsea. Tires were damaged/destroyed.

•Theft of property from the 1200 Block of Inverness Lane. U.S. currency in the amount of $125 and vehicle and house keys were stolen.

•Theft of property from the 4400 Block of Valleydale Road. Two 12-packs of Heineken beer, 12-pack of Corona Extra beer and two packages of Depends undergarments, at a total value of $112.93, were stolen.

•Miscellaneous information from the 3200 Block of Inverness Cliffs.

•Death investigation from the 2000 Block of Blue Heron Circle, Birmingham.

•Public intoxication from the 1700 Block of Kenley Way, Birmingham.

•Criminal trespass from the 1700 Block of Kenley Way, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 1300 Block of Mimosa Road, Leeds.

•Domestic investigation from the 1300 Block of Willow Oaks Drive, Wilsonville.

•Theft of services from the 0 Block of Sam’s Place, Shelby. Unknown gallons of water valued at $160 was stolen.

•Fire investigation from the 4700 Block of Hwy. 22, Montevallo. A mobile home was fully burned.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 200 Block of Clairmont Road, Sterrett.

•Miscellaneous incident from the Shelby County Jail. Tamsulosin hydrochloride, Trazodone and a prescription pill bottle were recovered.

•Domestic violence/strangulation from the 500 Block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Birmingham.

•Domestic violence/menacing from the 300 Block of Highway 19, Montevallo.

•Theft of property from 5452 Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham. An iPad Pro and brown leather case, valued at a total of $1,160, were stolen.

 

July 10

•Permitting dogs to run at large from the 100 Block of First Avenue, Shelby.

• Permitting dogs to run at large from the 100 Block of First Avenue, Shelby.

•DUI-any substance from U.S. 280 East at Inverness Center Parkway. Bond Arms Big Bear 45 Colt and black holster were recovered.

•Harassment from the 2000 Block of Knollwood Place, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 200 Block of First Street North, Alabaster.

•Domestic assault from the 1000 Block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Birmingham.

•Domestic violence/harassment from the 1000 Block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 600 Block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous information from the 5400 Block of Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Criminal trespass from the 500 Block of Thorn Berry Lane, Birmingham.

July 11

•Property damage from the 5100 Block of Hwy. 16, Montevallo. About 40 yards of barbed wire fence and wooden post were damaged/destroyed.

•Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 3.2 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe were confiscated.

•Theft of property from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280, Chelsea. Two hydraulic automotive jacks were stolen.

•Theft of property from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A sirloin steak, clothes and household supplies, valued at a total of $48.88, were stolen.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 1200 Block of Inverness Cliffs, Birmingham.

•Theft of property from the 100 Block of Oakdale Drive, Montevallo. An LED lightbar valued at $100 was stolen.

•Death investigation from the 1000 Block of Stone Brook Lane, Birmingham.

•Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of County Road 471, Sterrett.

•Burglary and theft of property from the 200 Block of Willow Lane, Shelby. Guns were stolen.

•Theft of property from the 10000 Block of Old Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A single axle trailer valued at $900 was stolen.

•Theft of property from the 10000 Block of Old Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A tandem axle trailer valued at $6,500 was stolen.

•Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 5000 Block of South Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham. A debit card was charged $490.94.

•Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age from the 2000 Block of Hwy. 86, Calera.

•Rape and domestic violence/harassment from the 100 Block of Adney Circle, Shelby.

•Robbery from the 5500 Block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham. Two $100 dollar bills were stolen.

•Domestic harassment from the 2000 Block of Wilmington Place, Birmingham.

•Harassing communications from the 400 Block of Indian Trail Road, Indian Springs.

 

July 12

•Domestic investigation from the 900 Building of Morning Sun Drive, Birmingham.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 100 Block of Hwy. 313, Saginaw. A front door was damaged/destroyed due to forced entry.

•Public intoxication from 5429 Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

•Harassing communications from the 2000 Block of Hwy. 93, Helena.

•Miscellaneous incident from Dusty Way, Harpersville.

•Bigamy from Hwy. 315, Columbiana.

•Property damage from Hwy. 119 and Brook Highland Parkway, Birmingham. A rear bumper and trailer lights were damaged/destroyed.

•Obstructing justice using a false identity and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Hwy. 31 at Hwy. 70, Calera. A glass pipe used for smoking crack cocaine and spoons used for cooking and using cocaine were confiscated.

•Burglary from the 100 Block of Church Street in Wilton. A clothes dryer, two window A/C units and a gas brick heater were stolen; and a rear door deadbolt lock was damaged/destroyed.

•Miscellaneous incident from the 3200 Block of Hwy. 10, Montevallo.

•Identity theft from the 4800 Block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.

•Theft of property from Trail’s End Road, Chelsea. Four necklaces and two diamond rings valued at a total of $15,000 were stolen.

•Two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance from U.S. Hwy. 280 at County Road 51, Sterrett.

•Domestic violence/harassment from the 300 Block of Chesser Plantation Lane, Chelsea.

•Miscellaneous incident from 62 AL Youth Drive, Westover.
