Wallace Gentry Hallmark Jr., age 78, of Harpersville, died Monday, Aug. 1 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist of Harpersville. Burial will be at Harpersville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Thursday, Aug. 4 from noon – 2 p.m. Rev. Kenny Baskins and Rev. Angela Martin will be officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell Hallmark; children, William Allen Hallmark (Teri), Phillip “Rowdy” Hallmark, Tracy Lynn Todd (Carl), Michael Clinkscale (Cathy), Wanda Clinckscale Fisher (Jimmy), Rene Clinckscale Bass, Mark Edward Clinckscale; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Phillip Ray Hallmark; and numerous niece and nephews.

Mr. Hallmark was preceded in death by his sister, Deanna Jamison.

He was a member of the IBEW Local #136 for 60 years.
