STAFF REPORTS

The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Pelham Police Department from July 28 – Aug. 5, 2016:

July 28

-Unlawful possession of controlled substances from Valleydale Road (parking lot/garage). Recovered was pink paper containing 1 gram of suspected heroin valued at $180.

-Fourth degree theft of property from 1900 block of Pelham Parkway (supermarket). Stolen was merchandise valued at $66.74.

-Property damage from Pelham Parkway (highway/street). Damage to the front bumper of 2013 Chrysler 200 is valued at $200.

-Third degree burglary from 100 block of King Valley Drive (residence/home). Stolen was pressure washer valued at $300, a hedge trimmer valued at $80 and a power drill valued at $70.

-Property damage at 7900 block of Helena Road (service/gas station). Damage to a gas pump was valued at $100.

July 29

-Harassment/ harassing communications from Bishop Circle (residence/home).

-Theft of property from 100 block of Ivy Brook Trail (residence/home).  Stolen was clothing valued at $101.76.

-First degree identity theft from Indian Creek Drive.

-Discharging a firearm from State Park Road (highway/street).

-Second degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of controlled substances from Highway 52 East (highway/street). Recovered was 14.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine valued at $1,400, 1.9 grams of suspected acetaminophen and hydrocodone valued at $24, 168 grams of suspected GHB valued at $150, 2 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $20, 0.3 grams of suspected clonazepam valued at $15, 0.2 grams of suspected Suboxone valued at $10 and a plastic straw containing suspected drug residue.

-Third degree criminal mischief from 100 block of Emerald Lake Drive (residence/home). Damage to a 2016 Hyundai Elantra was valued at $200.

July 30

-Sexual misconduct from Kilkerran Lane (residence/home).

-Leaving scene of accident from Interstate 65 South (highway/street). Damage to the rear bumper a 2006 Mercury Trainer is valued at $1,000.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from Interstate 65 (highway/street). Recovered was a used hypodermic needle valued at $5.

-Harassment/ harassing communications from Valleydale Road.

-Harassment/harassing communications from Cahaba Valley Road (restaurant).

-Second degree unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia from Pelham Parkway (highway/street). Recovered was a white bottle containing 2.5 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $60, a marijuana grinder and rolling papers valued ay $20 and a prescription bottle containing 23 castor beans valued at $60.

-Menacing and unsafe lane changing from Pelham Parkway (highway/street).

-Leaving scene of accident from Pelham Prkway (highway/street). Damage to a 2012 Mazda was valued at $1,000.

-Leaving scene of accident from 5500 block of Shelby County 11. Damage to a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder was valued at $1,000.

July 31

-Leaving scene of accident from Interstate 65 North (highway/street).  Damage to the front right bumper of a 2016 Mercedes ML350 is valued at $1,000.

-Unlawful Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and illegal possession/use of a credit card/debit card from 100 block of Hayesbury Court (residence/home).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Indianwood Terrace (residence/home). Stolen was a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson valued at $500.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Indianwood Terrace (residence/home). Stolen was clothing valued at $95.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Stratford Circle (residence/home). Stolen was $1,000.

-Minor in possession of alcohol and minor in possession of tobacco from Bowling Lane (commercial).  Recovered was a pack of cigarettes valued at $3.

-Change of bills circulating from Saddle Run Circle (residence/home). Recovered were two counterfeit $20 bills.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and third degree theft of property from 100 block of Hayesbury Lane (residence/home).  Stolen was a cell phone and cell phone accessories valued at $579.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Indianwook Terrace (residence/home). Stolen was a Nexus android tablet and accessories valued at $115.

-Third degree theft of property from Pelham Parkway (department store). Stolen was merchandise valued at $556.80.

Aug. 1

-Stalking from 800 block of Valleyview Road (residence/home).

-Theft of property from 180 block of Stonecliff Cirlce (residence/home). Stolen was a car seat valued at $55 and a rolling cooler valued at $55.

-Unauthorized use of vehicle from Commerce Boulevard (commercial).

-Third degree theft of property from Pelham Parkway (department store). Stolen was cable equipment valued at $1,135.87.

-Miscellaneous information from Old Montgomery Highway (commercial). Stolen was a heat gun valued at $150 and vinyl valued at $200.

-Third degree theft of property from Kirkwall Circle (residence/home). Stolen was cabinet hardware valued at $300 and lighting valued at $760.

-Theft of property from Cahaba Valley Parkway (specialty store). Stolen was merchandise valued at $8,948.97.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from 1900 block of Pelham Parkway (parking lot/garage). Recovered was 1 gram of suspected heroin valued at $20 and 1 gram of suspected methamphetamine valued at $20.

-Third degree domestic violence from 2900 block of Pelham Parkway (restaurant).

Aug. 2

-Miscellaneous information from Chase Creek Circle (residence/home).

-Theft of Property from 1200 block of Huntley Apartment Drive (parking lot/garage). Stolen was a white trailer valued at $3,000, assorted food products valued at $3,000 and a hand truck valued at $100.

-Driving under the influence from Interstate 65 South (highway/street).

-Reckless driving from Shelby County 33 (highway/street).

-Theft of property by deception from Helena Road (commercial). Stolen was a 2010 BMW valued at $28,000.

-Property damage from 2200 block of Pelham Parkway (highway/street). Damaged was the rear driver side window of a 2003 GMC Yukon, valued at $200.

-Second degree unlawful possession of marijuana from 100 block of Bishop Circle (parking lot/garage). Recovered was a Cigarillo containing 0.96 grams of marijuana valued at $10.

Aug. 3

-Third degree burglary from 100 block of King Valley Drive (residence/home). Stolen was a mounted deer head valued at $400, a power drill valued at $300, auto repair equipment valued at $1,050.

-Theft of property from 500 block of King Valley Circle (residence/home). Stolen was lawn equipment and tools valued at $470.

-Public intoxication from Cahaba Valley Road (restaurant). Recovered was a plastic bag containing 27 individual packages of Suboxone valued at $100.

-Harassing communications from Valleyview Road (residence/home).

-Change bills circulating from Cummings Street (government/public building).

Recovered was a counterfeit $100 bill.

Aug. 4

-Harassment/ harassing communications from Village Drive.

-Miscellaneous information from 200 block of Shelby County 33.

-Harassing communications from Drivers Way (restaurant).

Aug. 5

-Second degree unlawful possession of marijuana from Interstate 65 North (highway/street). Recovered was one plastic bag containing 0.64 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $10, one plastic bag containing 0.95 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $20, two Marlboro cigarette box containing a total of 0.51 grams of suspected marijuana valued at $10 and one suspected marijuana cigarette valued at $10.
