H. Neil Crim, age 78, of Sterrett, passed away Friday, Sept. 9.

Neil served over 30 years in law enforcement and retired in 1999 as a Lieutenant from the Shelby County Sherriff’s Department. He was a devoted father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Mr. Crim is survived by his daughters, Shea Crim Callahan and Kimberly Crim Lawley (Adam); grandsons, Blake Kennedy, Blane Kennedy, Thomas Callahan, and Taylor Callahan; aunts, Virginia Atkinson and Irene Kilpatrick; sister-in-law, Shirley Crim; and numerous other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharron Crim; parents, Raymond and Dorenia Crim; and brother, John C. Crim.
