John Ellison White, age 57, of Calera, formerly of Tuscaloosa, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Sept. 6. He was born on June 10, 1959.

He was employed in the lumber business since his early teenage years and held several positions in management at Central Builders Supply in Pelham.

John was predeceased by his parents, John and Hilda White, and sister, Vivian White Beams.

His survivors include wife of 22 years, Jan White; daughters, Raven (boyfriend, Jonathan) and Ashlyn White; sisters, Linda Posey and Susan Siegal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life ceremony was held Friday, Sept. 9 from noon – 7 p.m. at the Calera Community Center, 8560 Highway 31, Calera.
