Grant Cole left this world better than he found it – he laughed often, loved much, and lived life to the very fullest.

Grant was a proud career fireman with Birmingham Fire & Rescue Services; and in his hometown of Columbiana, he worked with Southeast Shelby Rescue and Columbiana Fire.

Grants goal in life was to bring a smile to the faces of everyone he encountered; in this Grant certainly succeeded.

Grant is loved and remembered by his wife, Rena; his children, Ashlee, Rachel, and AJ; his mother, Irene; his three sisters, Linda, Brenda, and Sandra; and a multitude of other family and friends. Grant is already tremendously missed.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20 at First Baptist Church of Columbiana with Dr. Mike Miller officiating. He will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Gardens in Columbiana.
