HELENA–CSX has announced that one of the two railroad crossings in Old Town Helena will be closed for repairs beginning Saturday, Oct. 1 at approximately 7 a.m.

CSX said the crossing closest to The Depot and Railroad Avenue will be closed the morning of Oct. 1 and will reopen no later than Sunday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.

Helena Road will be open on both sides of the crossing but the crossing will be completely closed during this time period.

Helena residents should use an alternate route during this time period.
