Funeral Service for Mr. Walter Davis Bullock, 71, of Vandiver, will be Friday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Vincent, with the Dr. Darryl Wood officiating, and the burial to follow at Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday evening at the church. Mr. Bullock died Monday at his residence.

Mr. Bullock is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Beatrice Bullock; his grandparents, Ezekiah Davis, Seppy Davis, Maudie Trussel, and Henry Bullock; and one sister, Diane Bullock Fulmer.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Brenda Wideman Bullock; four daughters, Tammy Bullock Loggins (Kevin), Amy Joyce Bullock (Joel Steadman), Christie Bullock Franklin (James Mulholland), and Stacie Bullock Poe (Michael Alexander); a step-father, Robert “Bob” Bullock”; two brothers, Harry Bullock and Robert Bullock; one sister, Judy Bullock; eleven grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Banes II (Carrie), Retha Nicole Loggins, Jonathan Walter Banes, Justin Glenn Franklin (Letha), Andrew Michael Paullin (Jasmine), Amber Joyce Loggins, Amanda Jean Paullin, Brandon Ellis Franklin (Courtney), Matthew Duncan Loggins, Autumn Joyce Poe, and Arian Jada Poe; and seven great-grandchildren, D.J. Schmidt, Syha Paige Franklin, Maleah Nicole Banes, Jason Wyatt Franklin, Emma Elaine Paullin, Mason Glenn Franklin, and Rebekah Lorene Paullin.
