Ina Mae Loftin, age 93, of Calera, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, at her home.

She was a member of Calera Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for approximately 50 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Roy M. Loftin; son, Robert E. “Bob” Loftin; great-grandson, Cameron Bush; granddaughter, Tobi Pierce; grandson, Tony Pierce; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kennamer; and sister and her husband, Sue and T. J. Fain.

Surviving relatives include her daughters, Linda (Mike) Dorough and Charlotte (Tommy) Pierce; son, Dan (Kathy) Loftin of Calera; daughter-in-law, Norma Loftin; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Calera Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. where she will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jason Jarvis and Rev. Brook Lovett will be officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
