Robert Mitchell, Jr., age 66, of Calera, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11 at South Shelby Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11 at South Shelby Baptist Church with Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his father, R.H. “Jack” Mitchell, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Mitchell; brother, Billy Mitchell (Debbie); nieces, Trinity Childress (Young), Tara Nash (Greg), and Tamara Hobson (Steven); 10 great nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends.
