Virginia Ann “Ginni” Lawley, age 81, of Montevallo, went to her heavenly home Monday, Dec. 5.

Ginni was retired from The Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville, Tenn., and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was predeceased by her father, John Burchfield (Hilda); mother, Anna Marie Burchfield; and sisters, Mary Cook, Kathryn Burchfield, Ester Ruth Burchfield and Peggy Escobedo.

Her survivors include her son, James T. Lawley, Jr. (Donna); grandchildren, Kristie Burch (Tim) and James W. “Billy” Lawley and great grandson, Tanner Burch.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Charter Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Bethel Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.
