Mildred Branson, age 81, of Shelby, passed away Monday, Dec. 12.

Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Howard Brasher officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Garden of Rest. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Branson is preceded in death by her husband, John Branson, and brother, Howard Benson.

She is survived by her daughter: Jan Teachey (Ken); son: Alan Branson (Lisa); grandchildren, Brittany (Chris), Katie, Will (Anna), Branson, and Jake; great grandchildren, Grayton, Brooks, and Emma Grace; brother, James Terry Benson (Linda); sister-in-law, Bunny Benson; nephews, Terry Benson and Jamie Benson; niece, Connie Wheeler; and numerous other family and friends.
