ALABASTER – Meadow View Elementary School’s choir got their parents and classmates into the Christmas spirit on Dec. 14 by presenting a pair of holiday concerts in the school’s cafeteria.

The Meadow View Singers choir held two concerts – one for family members and another for their classmates – throughout the morning, performing classics such as “Sing we Now of Christmas,” “Deck the Halls,” “Feliz Navidad” and “Dreidel, Dreidel.” The choir was directed by MVES music teacher Dennis Jones.

Several students even put in extra practice leading up to the concert to perfect handbell routines to the songs “Joy to the World” and “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.”

The handbell ensemble consisted of students Brayden Chastain, Kenzly Foote, Noah Hardee, Samantha Johanson, Maddie Johnson, Micah Jones, Elyssa Martin, Wyatt McAdams, Logan Watson, Bailey Weismann and Wyatt Yerby.

The Meadow View Singers consist of Eduin Alacantra, Angely Ardiano, Nicolas Bailey, Deanna Bellman, Gage Benniger, Aderain Bivins, Ashton Blair, Savanah Blakemore, Jaliyah Bryant, Noah Burnham, Noah Burrill, Noah Butler, Lilley Byers-Vines, Kathia Cardenas, Nathan Carroza, Haley Caterinichia, Brayden Chastain, Moses Darling Bailee Davis, Katherine Del Cid, Maria Duran Espana, RJ Evans, CJ Ewart, Colby Ewart, Annie Fesh, Londyn Kate Floyd, Kenzly Foote, Danny Garcia, Gabriella Garcia-Castillo, Olivia Greene, Blake Gregory and Alyssa Grisaffi.

The singers also include Enrique Guevara, Michael Guzman, Mylee Hall, Noah Gardee, Juan Hernandez, Owen Hester, Kara Hooten, Isaac Hudson-Fish, Stephanie Hutcheson, Deanna James, Samantha Johanson, Maddie Johnson, Micah Jones, Elizabeth Keith, Caleb King, Eva Kolodziej, Sophia Lawhorn, Andrew Lowrey, Elyssa Martin, Kingston Massey, Jake Matson, Wyatt McAdams Hannah McCay, Leah McCay, Neeley McKim, Kelly Medrano, Brody Morrison, Jamieson Morrow, Jayla Moss, Allison Murcia-Mira, Jessica Navarro and Anderius.
