Kristin Murrell is the daughter of Dave and Laura Murrell. Jimmy Musso is the son of Jerry and Teresa Musso. Kristin is from Hoover and Jimmy is from Vestavia Hills, but they did not know each other until their senior years of college. They both attended the University of Alabama and were introduced to each other through a close mutual friend. It wasn’t until the following summer when they started dating.

Kristin and Jimmy dated for two years before Jimmy decided to propose April 15, 2015. The beach is Jimmy’s favorite place, and neither of them had been on a beach trip in years. So, they decided to plan a trip to Destin, Florida, and Jimmy jumped at the opportunity to propose while they were there. It was the perfect weekend to begin their happily ever after together.

When they returned home to Alabama, Kristin and Jimmy began planning their wedding right away. They set the date for June 11, 2016, at The Sonnet House in Leeds. It was a beautiful location for the bride and groom to dance their night away.

On the big day, Kristin’s bridesmaids were dressed in a celadon, strapless dress while the groomsmen wore light grey suits. Kristin’s father walked her down the aisle at 6 p.m. to the Cahaba Strings quartet. It was the perfect summer wedding complete with the most perfect lace dress, the most stunning bouquet of peonies and garden roses and the most handsome groom.

The bride and groom continued their celebration with a reception to follow the ceremony surrounded by close family and friends. Kristin and Jimmy’s first dance was one of their favorite moments of the night. They danced under the lights on the outside patio to “Mean to Me” by Brett Eldridge.

The rest of the evening was filled with cake and much more dancing. By the end of the night the guests lined up to send off the bride and groom. They threw dried lavender while Kristin and Jimmy said their goodbyes and drove away. Kristin and Jimmy were thankful for their family and friends both near and far who were able to celebrate their wedding day with them.
