Ruby “Inez” Bird, age 86, of Harpersville, died Sunday, Jan. 1.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4 at Harpersville 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Baker and grandson Daryl Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3 at the church. Burial will be at Harpersville City Cemetery.

Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

She is a member of Harpersville 1st Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Elmer Bird, and granddaughter, Wendi Ray.

Survivors include son, Phagin Neal Bird (Grace); daughter, Sallie Faye Bird Ray (Larry); grandchildren, Tonya Swain (Kerry), Daryl Ray (Heather), and Lee Pritchett (Crystal); great grandchildren, Kerstin Goswick (Robert), Parker Ray, Elizabeth Ray, Emily Pritchett, and Caitlin Pritchett; and great great grandchild, Isaac Goswick.
