The Alabaster Police Department is trying to identify suspects who are involved in a recent trailer theft.

According to Lt. Grant Humphries, APD believes a suspect of a black truck hooked a resident’s trailer to the vehicle and drove away with it.

“It’s just so random,” Humphries said.

Police say the theft occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 10, between 1:30 and 2 p.m. on the 100 Block of Morning Mist Trail.

Humphries said police are unsure of the trailer’s current whereabouts

APD has uploaded five videos to their Facebook page, which show a white passenger car and the black truck believed to be connected to the offense.

Police urge anyone who has more information on the crime to contact them by calling 663-7401.

“Unfortunately, these things happen. If you see something suspicious in your neighborhood, don’t hesitate to call us,” Humphries said.
