The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Marc Bynum, who lists an address on Black Road in Blountsville, on Jan. 23 and charged him with three felony counts of transmitting obscene matter to children.

He was released from the Shelby County Jail the day after he was arrested after posting bonds totaling $90,000, according to jail records.

According to his arrest warrants, Bynum allegedly transmitted images of his genitals to victims younger than 16 in Shelby County on three separate occasions in December 2016. The images were allegedly transferred “for the purpose of initiating or engaging in sexual acts” with the victims, according to his warrants.

He is now set to appear in Shelby County District Court for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 22 at 8:30 a.m., according to court records.
