James P. Pickett, age 81, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, March 10 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James T. and Ola Pickett; his brother, William Dale Pickett; and his sister, Ann Likes.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna J. Pickett; his son, William J. Pickett (Vicki); three stepchildren, Darin Sheren (Christine), Richard Blanchong and Christopher Flores; several grand-children and two great grand-children. He is also survived by his niece, Carole Hucker (Steve), and nephews, David and Dale Pickett.

There will be a visitation for Mr. Pickett at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo on Saturday, March 18 at 10 a.m. with his funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge.
