PELHAM – City residents are invited to participate in the city’s annual Easter egg hunt on April 15 at 9 a.m.

The hunt, which is free to attend, will be held at Pelham City Park at the youth football field.

“It’s always a great event,” said Parks and Recreation Director Billy Crandall. “There’s normally a good turnout with 300-400 kids participating.”

Crandall said 10,000 Easter eggs filled with candy and toys will be spread across the field. The Easter Bunny is also scheduled to be at the event to meet and take pictures with kids.

The field will be sectioned off for ages 0-5, 6-10 and 11 and above. Participants should bring their own Easter baskets to collect eggs.
