CALERA – Two separate wrecks on Interstate 65 North have caused traffic delays near Exit 228 in Calera.

According to a news release from the Alabama State Troopers, both crashes involve several vehicles and it is unknown at this time if there are any injuries.

According to a post on the Calera Fire Department’s Facebook page, one of the wrecks has blocked the left lane on I-65 north.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
