Funeral service for Billie Mae Dawson, age 88, will be held Wednesday, May 24 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Vandiver. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dawson passed away Sunday, May 21.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hugh Dawson; four sons, David Darrell Dawson, Victor Ray Dawson, Rickey Dale Dawson, Larry Wayne Dawson; and daughter, Donna Lee Golden.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Harold Dawson, Phillip Hugh Dawson; daughter, Sherry Dawson Cobb; son-in-law, Jeff Cobb; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Brasher and Linda Rich.
