Floyce “Buster” Carter, age 91, of Montevallo, passed away Sunday, May 28.

He could take a five-minute experience and turn it into a two-hour story. He was a beekeeper. He was a wonderful husband, was greatly loved and will be missed.

He was predeceased by his son, Hugh Carter.

His survivors include his wife of 72 years, Frances Carter; children, Brenda Mason, Carolyn Otto (Morris) and Lisa Gottier (Walter); grandchildren, Wade, Stephanie,

Will, Eric, Dawn, Cory, Liz, Erin, Jimmie, Cami, Dave, Misty, Mike, and Sean and siblings, Calvin Carter (Yvonne), Rayburn Carter (Cindy), Elvis Carter (Ethelene), Evelyn McCracken (Wayne) and Jenny Wilson (Dwight).

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 3 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Pelham.
