ALABASTER- The Alabaster Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station on U.S. 31 across from the Shelby Baptist Medical Center at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6.

According to APD Lt. Grant Humphries, police are currently investigating the crime scene, working to identify the suspects and looking into several possible leads.

Humphries urged anyone with more information on this crime to contact the APD by calling 663-7401.
