HELENA–A growing residential subdivision situated off Shelby County 93 in Helena is now taking reservations for those wishing to build new homes to be a part of the Helena community.

Creekwater Homes of Helena is in phase III of development and approximately 50 homes currently exist in the residential neighborhood.

The Creekwater residential development boasts a natural surrounding and several amenities in a city that has been recognized multiple times as one of the best and safest places to live in Alabama.

Bob Mathews with Highpointe Properties, LLC described Creekwater as being “unique” citing the diverse architectural style, custom built homes, large wooded lots and diversity that sets the neighborhood apart from others.

The Creekwater homebuilders include Winford Homecrafters, J. Wright Building Company and Prominence Homes.

Wright Building Company was awarded Best of Show and a Gold Award in the 2017 Greater Birmingham Parade of Homes in April. Winford Homecrafters received a Bronze Award in the Birmingham Parade of Homes as well.

The goal for Creekwater is to complete several different phases of construction with a finished product of around 200 total homes. The timeline is to construct these homes over a 5-7 year period.

Amenities at Creekwater already include wooded home sites, walking trails, a park, outdoor recreational areas and natural surroundings.

The homes in Creekwater will range in price from $350,000 to around $500,000 depending on lot size, floor plans, custom built designs and other factors. Many of the floor plan designs include three, four and five bedroom homes.
