HHS football season tickets now on sale

HELENA–Shelby County Schools officially begins the new school year on Aug. 8, and with it comes the return of high school football shortly after.

The Helena High School football team will enter its fourth season as a program and second season at the 6A Region 3 classification, and the Helena Athletic Association is selling season tickets and reserved parking for the 2017 season.

Helena will have five regular season home games in 2017 that includes Mountain Brook, Chilton County, Vestavia, Benjamin Russell and Chelsea. The Huskies will also take on Ramsey at home on Aug. 25 in a preseason game.

The purchase of a season ticket will allow entry into each home varsity or junior varsity game for the entire season that will include a reserved seat near midfield. Up to six season tickets may be purchased for the 2017 season.

Season tickets and reserved parking may be purchased separately or as a bundle as a variety of packages will be available from the HAA. A single reserved parking pass is $100 and a single season ticket is $75.

Other packages available are as follows:

–Two season tickets with parking pass: $210

–Two season tickets with no parking pass: $150

–Three season tickets with no parking pass: $225

–Four season tickets with no parking pass: $300

–Five season tickets with no parking pass: $375

–Six season tickets with no parking pass: $450

Once season tickets have been purchased, seats will be assigned based on the number requested and cannot be picked by the season ticket holder, according to the HAA.

Season tickets do not apply to any home playoff games.

Helena’s first regular season home game will be Friday, Sept. 1 against Mountain Brook at 7 p.m.
