ALABASTER – Alabaster based nonprofit Angel Warriors Foundation is hosting a Game Fest at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Thompson High School.

According to AWF President Jamia Alexander-Williams, Alabaster gaming café Press Start is providing all of the equipment for Game Fest.

Game Fest will feature Madden and FIFA tournaments. Williams said AWF and Press Start are currently developing rules for the tournaments. Up to $250 in prizes will be awarded.

Williams said 100 percent of the proceeds raised by Game Fest will benefit members of the local special needs community by funding programs and events organized by the Angel Warriors Foundation.

Game Fest is open to people from all ages, and entry costs $10.

“This is going to help us continue to support the wonderful special needs community in our city,” Williams said.
