Anthony Vincent Reed, age 72, of Alabaster, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 16.

He was employed for several years in management at the McDonald’s restaurant in Alabaster.

Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Vincent Louis Reed and Florence Rosina West Reed, and one sister, Jennifer D. Stansell.

Survivors include Anthony’s loving wife, Sharon K. Reed; three sons, Greg Anderson (Kiwa), Ian Reed, and Ashley Reed (Amanda); five grandchildren, Kaitlin Anderson, Alexis Reed, Austin Reed, Tessa Anderson, and Hannah Anderson; and one sister, Angela E. Henderson.

The family is planning a private celebration of Anthony Reed’s life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association.
