Atlanta, Birmingham & Atlantic Railroad. This 1907 photo of the construction of the AB&A bridge over the Cahaba River shows the advanced method of construction being used at the time. This bridge, still in use today, spans the Cahaba at the rear of the Riverwoods neighborhood. (Contributed/City of Helena Museum)
