CHELSEA – A wreck involving a school bus and a tractor-trailer on Thursday, Sept. 28, resulted in no injuries.

The wreck occurred after school hours at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Shelby County 43, or Bear Creek Road, and numerous agencies responded to the scene, including State Troopers.

One eastbound lane of U.S. 280 was closed temporarily, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The truck was described as a tandem axle flatbed truck.

No injuries were sustained either by occupants of the school bus or the truck.
