Ramar Trey Hamilton, 47, died surrounded by family at his home near Montevallo on Friday, Sept. 29.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1969 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to Louisiana natives, Pamela Kelly and Ramar Edward Hamilton Jr., who soon moved the family to Alabama.

Ramar Trey attended John Carroll High School and UAB. He married Jamie Suire in 2002.

Ramar Trey will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother and friend to many and loyal LSU fan. Hard-working and dedicated, he ended his career at Mspark, which he greatly admired for its commitment to employees and customers.

He lived life to the fullest and was relied on for strength, support and laughter. He had a true love of all people and animals.

He was preceded in death by his mothers, Pamela Kelly Mott and Billie Dean Hamilton.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie; his father, Ray; step-mother, Patti Hamilton; step-father, Howard Mott; sisters, Penny Wildman Miller (Kevin), Kelly Hamilton-Bracy (Michael), Holly Mott Strickland (Patrick), Angie Coley Sproull (Lee), and Amy Coley (Kevin); brothers, Jason Mott (Leigh Ann), and Drew and Caleb Coley; nieces, Eliza and Sophie Bracy; and nephews, Zach King, Alex and Will Miller, and Owen Bracy. He also leaves extended family across the U.S. of Mitchells, Kellys, Benfields, Millers, Motts, Suires, Bunces, and Coleys.

A celebration of his life will begin at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Lakeview Pavilion in Oak Mountain State Park. Dress casually. No flowers, please.
