Angel Warriors holding dyslexia training session

ALABASTER – The Angel Warriors Foundation is teaming up with Links to Learning to host a dyslexia training program for teachers, parents, administrators and anyone else interested in learning more about it.

The free training will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 6-8 p.m. in the Thompson High School auditorium.

According to the event organizers, the training session will focus on identifying signs of dyslexia and becoming an effective communicator and advocate for children facing dyslexia.

Signs of dyslexia include difficulties with reading, reading comprehension, spelling and decoding words.
