Herbert Craig Spradley
Vincent

Herbert Craig Spradley, age 62, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11 at his home in Vincent, with his wife Jo by his side.

The funeral will be Monday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home with the graveside service to follow at Beulah Cemetery. An afterlife party will be held at Pier 59 in Cropwell to celebrate Craig’s life.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Spradley; his mother, Sue Spradley; and his granddaughter, Ivalee Crocker.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Mudd Spradley; his children, Nick Spradley (Beth) and Tori Crocker (Justin); his brothers, Dwight (Helen) and Dwayne (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Jack Crocker, Kyson Wilson, Harper Spradley, Charlie Crocker, and Jeremiah Grace Crocker.

Craig left behind a legacy of love. He had many friends and loved each of those friends well. He lived a full life in his 62 years that included traveling, skiing, boating, singing, and laughing. He worked hard pouring concrete with his business partner and friend, Paul Woo, but balanced it with spending many hours at “Cuz Key” with friends. Everyone who knew Craig knows how difficult it is to capture his essence in a few words on paper. He was larger than life, and our lives are better for having known him and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in Craig’s name to Crested Butte adaptive sports, 10 Crested Butte Way, Crested Butte, CO 81224,
