Morris Patterson, age 77, of Chelsea, passed away Friday, Oct. 13.

The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18 at Bolton Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Miller and Bro. Marty Barker officiating.

Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Leah Wallace; sisters, Salomie Virginia Humphries and Barbara Louise Johnson; and brother, Jerry Lee Patterson.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Patterson; daughter, Deborah Lynn Barker (Marty Elwood Barker); grandchildren, Stacy Ann Fertig (Ryan James Fertig) and Caleb Stewart Barker (Ashley Nicole Barker); great grandchildren, Samuel James Fertig, Alison Faith Fertig, Rayden Stewart Barker; a great granddaughter due in January 2018; a great grandchild due in June 2018; and sister, Reba Olive Gardner.
