COLUMBIANA – The Loomis Bros. Circus is paying a visit to Columbiana as part of its “Twenty Years of Tradition Tour” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. According to a press release from Loomis Bros., all shows will take place at the Shelby County Exhibition Center on Argo Road.

The circus will be held in the traditional three-ring style and includes performing elephants, White Siberian and Royal Bengal tigers, acrobats, poodles, live music and more.

“This year marks our 20th year of presenting performances throughout North America, and we’ve pulled out all the stops to celebrate this momentous occasion,” Ringmaster Justin Loomis said. “We have many surprises in store for you and your family in this year’s production, including an all new, updated look and the addition of an amazing live band made up of the world’s finest musicians. We are also very proud that we continue to present exotic animals in our show, and we are the only touring circus in the United States where you can see a mixed herd of both Asian and African elephants.”

The doors open one hour before the show begins, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early for the best seats.

Admission to the circus is $20 for adults and $8 for children. However, coupons can be found at several local businesses throughout the county. Additional offers can be found on the Loomis Circus Facebook page.

Tickets can be purchased online by credit or debit card or with cash only at the box office on the days of the shows. To purchase tickets or find out more about the circus, visit Loomiscircus.com.
