Inez Garner Pickett

Inez Garner Pickett, age 93, passed away at home Sunday, Oct. 29.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Garner and Alfred Pickett; daughter, Birdie Holladay (Willie); mother, Fannie Honeycutt; father, O.C. Honeycutt; sisters, Helen Herron, Ollie Ross and Billie Latimer; and brothers, Leslie Shaner, Bill Shaner and Jake Shaner.

She is survived by her son, James Garner (Shelia); grandchildren, Tina Baugh (Shane), Mike Garner (Karen), Lori Pate (Jonathan); great-grandchildren, Wyatt Allen, Jesse Allen, Sarah Allen, Hayden Garner, Tye Garner, Kiersten Pate and Olivia Pate; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with Bro. Ray Smith to officiate. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
