Amanda Lee Poole
Sylacauga

Amanda Lee Poole, “Our Angel” age 26, of Sylacauga gained her angel wings on Sunday, Nov. 12, in her mother’s arms and surrounded by numerous other loved ones.

Amanda will be remembered for so much, including a smile that lit up any room she was in, her beautiful giggle, her perseverance and her lively spirit. The family wants to thank everyone who has been a part of Amanda’s journey for the last 26 years. Amanda is missed tremendously and we find comfort only by knowing that she is no longer suffering and that she made an everlasting impact on all who met her.

Amanda attended Linda Nolen Learning Center in Pelham from age 3 to 21, when she then graduated in 2012. She participated in Adaptive Swimming at Lake Shore, Shelby County Special Olympics, and The Annual Fishing trip at Oak Mountain State Park sponsored by Alabama Power, numerous Christmas Programs, Valentines and Prom dances at her school.

A memorial service was held at South Shelby Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 18 with Brother David Bearden and Brother David Warren officiating.
