The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Dec. 19-25.

 

Dec. 19

-Criminal trespassing third degree and theft of property fourth degree (shoplifting) from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280, Chelsea. 17 items of miscellaneous clothing, three packs of DVDs and one mini drone at a combined estimated value of about $260 were stolen and recovered.

-Assault third degree from the 300 Block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 500 Block of Miller Circle, Indian Springs. A firearm was reported lost.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 2500 Block of Meadowwood Circle, Birmingham. A trash can valued at $100 was stolen.

-Miscellaneous incident-suicide attempt from the 500 Block of Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea.

-Miscellaneous incident-suicide attempt from the 100 Block of Magnolia Creek Drive, Chelsea.

-Property damage from the 11000 Block of County Road 17, Alabaster. A 2002 Nissan Altima was damaged.

-Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Birmingham Street Lot No. 9, Wilton.

-Civil dispute from the 100 Block of Washington Street, Columbiana.

-SORNA violation-registration with local law enforcement from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Theft of property second degree from the 1400 Bloc of Dunnavant Valley Road, Birmingham. A semi-automatic rifle with scope valued at $800 was reported stolen.

-Felony theft of property from the 9000 Block of Eagle Valley Lane, Birmingham. Living room furniture, bedroom furniture, mattress/box spring and plastic plant pots valued at a total of $5,700 was reported stolen.

-Fire investigation from Brown Street, Wilton. A home was destroyed by fire.

-Felony burglary third degree and felony criminal mischief second degree from the 1000 Block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham. Kitchen and bedroom cabinet doors and drawers, living room carpet, fireplace floor plate and fireplace glass door was reported damaged in a total loss of an estimated $1,900.

-Felony burglary and theft of property from Mooney Road, Columbiana. An iPhone, prescription medication, shaving and makeup kits, tools, coffee maker and DVDs valued at a total of about $500 were reported stolen.

 

Dec. 20

-Harassment from Nolen Lane, Alabaster.

-Criminal trespass from the 200 Block of Hwy. 307, Shelby.

-Death investigation from the 2500 Block of Hwy. 77, Columbiana.

-Driving under the influence from County Road 52 at Cahaba Lily Way, Helena.

-Domestic investigation from the 2900 Block of Westover Road, Westover.

-Illegal use of a debit card from an unknown location. $126.72 was reported stolen.

-Domestic violence harassment from the 100 Block of Shelia Point, Shelby.

-Domestic violence-harassing communications from the 100 Block of Hwy. 332, Chelsea.

-Domestic violence harassment from the 100 Block of Shelia Point, Shelby.

-Miscellaneous information from the state of Louisiana.

-Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card from an unknown location.

-Harassing communications from the 100 Block of Hodgens Road, Chelsea.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 Block of Kings Home Drive, Chelsea.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 5400 Block of Palomino Trail, Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 500 Block of Highway 50, Vandiver.

-Felony robbery from Grand Slam Drive (Chelsea Sports Complex). An Apple iPhone valued at $700 was reported stolen.

-Leaving the scene of an accident. A vehicle was damaged.

 

Dec. 21

-Felony assault from the 100 Block of Shelia Point, Shelby.

-Domestic investigation from the 2900 Block of Westover Road, Sterrett.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 4000 Block of Eagle Point Corporate Drive, Birmingham.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 4000 Block of Eagle Crest Drive, Birmingham. A tent valued at $80 was reported stolen.

-Felony forgery from the 5300 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Birmingham. Four fake Federal Reserve note in the amount of $20 each were recovered.

-Felony theft of property from the 700 Block of Hwy. 441, Wilsonville. A trailer with gate valued at $800 was reported stolen.

-Felony theft of property from the 300 Block of Alta Vista Drive, Chelsea. $60 in currency plus a chainsaw, driver with battery and charger, drill, hammer drill with bits and heater valued at a total of about $850 were reported stolen.

-Miscellaneous information from the 200 Block of Missionary Ridge.

-Property damage from Valleydale Road at Dogwood Circle. A vehicle was reported damaged.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 1000 Block of Brookhighland Lane, Birmingham.

-Leaving the scene of an accident. A vehicle was damaged.

-Driving under the influence from the 10000 Block of County Road 55, Sterrett.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 6500 Block of Old Hwy. 280, Sterrett.

 

Dec. 22

-Miscellaneous incident from the 1900 Block of Indian Crest Road, Indian Springs.

-Civil dispute from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280, Chelsea.

-Civil dispute from the 300 Block of August Road, Columbiana.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 300 Block of Hwy. 302, Shelby. A security camera valued at $150 was reported stolen.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 2000 Block of Eagle Creek Circle, Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 2000 Block of Eagle Park Lane, Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief from the 1000 Block of Dunsmore Drive, Chelsea. An estimated $1,000 in damage was reported to a vehicle.

-Domestic investigation from the 100 Block of Chesser Reserve Drive, Chelsea.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 200 Block of Hidden Acres Circle, Chelsea.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280. An unknown amount of merchandise was reported stolen.

-Felony theft of property from the 5000 Block of Harvest Ridge Lane, Birmingham. Jewelry valued at a total of about $6,000 was reported stolen.

-Felony theft of property from Lilly Lane, Shelby. A golf cart valued at $3,000 was reported stolen.

-Felony theft of property and felony burglary from the 4400 Block of Hwy. 231, Vincent. A wrench, saws, power drills, wrench and tripod valued at a total of about $1,700 were reported stolen.

-Felony theft of property from the 400 Block of Polo Trace, Chelsea. Jewelry valued at about $1,000 was reported stolen and recovered.

 

Dec. 23

-Public intoxication from the 2900 Block of Pelham Parkway, Pelham.

-Harassing communications from the 1200 Block of Turtle Lake Drive, Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 1600 Block of Bent River Circle, Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 6600 Block of County Road 55, Wilsonville. A vehicle was reported damaged.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 2000 Block of Eagle Creek Drive, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 16000 Block of U.S. Hwy. 280, Chelsea.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 2300 Block of South River Road, Shelby.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 2900 Block of Pelham Parkway, Pelham. Two pieces of mail were recovered.

-Felony burglary from the 2300 Block of South River Road, Shelby. Ceramic tile, hammers, chainsaws and hand tools valued at a total of about $700 were reported stolen.

-Felony unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and felony theft of property from the 100 Block of Davis Road, Wilsonville. Jewelry valued at $500 was reported stolen.

-Identity theft from the 5000 Block of Longleaf Lane, Birmingham. A fraudulent purchase of about $215 was reported.

-Felony theft of property and felony burglary from the 9300 Block of Hwy. 55, Westover. A motorcycle, go-kart and various toys valued at a total of about $2,000 were reported stolen.

-Felony burglary and theft from the 100 block of Hwy. 335, Chelsea. Jewelry, a makeup set, and clothes valued at a total of about $1,400 were reported stolen.

-Possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia from Hwy. 61 near Hwy. 145, Wilsonville. Two firearms, less than 1 gram of marijuana and a marijuana pipe were confiscated.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 11000 Block of Chelsea Road, Chelsea. 2 grams of a leafy green substance were confiscated.

-Miscellaneous information-property damage from an unknown location. A police patrol vehicle sustained $1,500 in damage.

 

Dec. 24

-Missing person from the 200 Block of Kings Home Drive, Chelsea.

-Felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana from Burnham Street at Lenfant Way, Birmingham.

-Assault from County Road 260, Maylene.

-Miscellaneous incident-property damage from Hwy. 70 at Limestone Cove, Calera. A police vehicle was damaged.

-Death investigation from the 600 Block of Hwy. 55, Wilsonville.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 1300 Block of Willow Oaks Drive, Wilsonville.

-Harassment from the 3000 Block of Hwy. 28, Columbiana.

-Domestic violence investigation from the 6300 Block of Hwy. 71, Shelby.

-Suicide attempt from the 5400 Block of Hwy. 280, Birmingham.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 52000 Block of Hwy. 25, Vandiver. An air conditioning coil valued at $100 was reported stolen.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 1800 Block of First Ave. N., Pell City.

-Domestic investigation from the 200 Block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham.

-Felony assault and possession of marijuana from the 1000 Block of Kings Way, Birmingham. 7.5 grams of marijuana was confiscated.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 400 Block of Forest Lakes Drive, Chelsea.

-Domestic violence-harassing communications and domestic violence-criminal mischief second degree from the 3200 Block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham.

 

Dec. 25

-Domestic investigation from the 1200 Block of Hwy. 52, Helena.

-Miscellaneous incident-civil dispute from the 100 Block of River Birch Road, Chelsea.

-Civil dispute from the 300 Block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Public intoxication and disorderly conduct. No location given.

-Domestic investigation from the 3000 Block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham.

-Felony theft from the 16000 Block of Hwy. 280, Chelsea. A phone valued at $350 was reported stolen.
