Misty Michelle Whitley, age 43, of Alabaster, passed away Friday, Jan. 26.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 9:30-11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. at Charter Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montevallo Cemetery.

Misty is survived by her loving husband, Greg Whitley; daughters, Brooklyn Whitley (fiancé, Adam Vaughn), and Abby Whitley; son, Brett Whitley (Emily Hallmark); granddaughter, Piper Whitley; mother, Joyce Edmonds; father and mother-in-law, Ronny and Dottie Whitley; sister, Kristy Granthom (Greg); sister-in-law, Ginger Bentley (Travis); nephew, Cole Bentley; and niece, Lydia Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Edmonds.

Misty was an employee of the city of Alabaster for 18 years. Misty was always smiling with a contagious laugh. She worked relentlessly, always putting others first. She loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed by many.
