Roy Carlton Griggs, 88 of Alabaster went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, Feb. 1.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dell Elizabeth Griggs; daughter, Judy Griggs Peters (M. Wayne); son, Ronald Carlton Griggs (Cathy); granddaughters, Vanessa Peters Cain (Chris) and Catherine E Griggs; and grandsons, Jonathan Peters, Benjamin Peters (Hannah Lawson), Christopher R. Griggs (Wendi), and Chadwick M. Griggs (Sarah).

Mr. Griggs was a Pastor for over 50 years.

Visitation was held on Friday, Feb. 2 at Southside Baptist Church in Alabaster. A service was held Saturday, Feb. 3 at Salem-Macon Baptist Church in Tallassee at

2 p.m.
