Essie Ann Wood, 79, of Westover, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3.

Her funeral service will be at Arkwright Baptist Church, Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 12p.m., with a visitation at the church from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Monroe Wood; daughter, Teresa Smiley (Michael); son, Michael Wood (Wendy); brothers, Howard Finley Jr. and David Hoyt Finley (Dot); sister, Doris Hall (E.J.); grandchildren, Jason Smiley, Jill Smiley, Madison Wood, and Mason Wood; and great grandchildren, Connor Mead, Greyson Smiley, and Jaxon Smiley.
