Several winners named at Day of Pageants

PELHAM – The Pelham High School Cheer Booster Club hosted its annual Day of Pageants program at PHS on Saturday, March 3.

Nearly 70 girls participated in the pageants, which were divided by grade level. Three different pageants were held for students k3 to second grade, third to fifth grade and sixth to eighth grade.

The judges were Cierra Belser, Paula Lowery, Adrian Lucas and Emily O’Roar. Ryleigh Chambers, Miss PHS 2018, was the emcee for the day.

Pelham students Donnie Ball, Griffin Knight, Josh Knight, Evan Milling, Dylan Palmier and Jordan Winston served as escorts. Titleholders – Jr. Miss PHS Kennedy Chambers and Miss Pelham Teen USA Addison Watts – crowned the pageant winners.

Contestants participated in a first impression and personal introduction, a beauty walk and a final look as a group.
